Andy Wiener: Photography

Ancestor Trees (2022 ongoing)

Herman on Hornbeam

Andy Wiener studied photography at the Royal College of Art between 1984 and 1986.

Over the last 35 years he has produced many bodies of work which have been exhibited and published widely. The Series, 'A Rake's Progress' is in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, and 'Love Scenes' in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery collection.

His practice is an investigation of what lies beneath the surface of reality. Photography is a medium so rooted in reality, that it is arguably the best medium to convey the message that reality isn't what we think it is.
